In this example, let's compare all eight different sample-algorithms
when downsampling a screenshot.
In this case: The german google website. You find the Original-Image here.
The screenshots was sampled from 800 x 600 to 500 x 360 pixel.

Personal notes:
Non of the tested algorithms are good when scaling down the
screenshot!
"Nearest Neighbour" is absolutely unusable.
Maybe Lanczos is the only one with a result, most people
can live with.
